A high-rise residential development located in the corner of Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur.
Challenge
With many new residences rising in Kuala Lumpur, the developer needed a brand that could help them connect with new young family buyers who plan to live in the city from other states.
Approach
The idea was to brand the development like a hometown within the city. We named it The Hipster - to celebrate nostalgia and locality.
The brand identity takes a modern vintage approach that mimics the neighbourhood’s context such as the kopitiams, niche cafes, shoplots, and surrounding nature.
We emphasised that it is located at the most serene area of Taman Desa, that is surrounded by trees with breathtaking views of the city and nearby lake.
Results
During the launch, The Hipster sold more than 80% of its units. The sales team with the help of the brand assets and collaterals communicated the brand’s offering well and successfully brought families of all sizes to visit The Hipster’s Sales Gallery.
